We are currently recruiting a Saudi National to join our Riyadh office as a BID Coordinator. This role will be part of our Regional Business Development Division.
This position supports our Saudisation strategy and provides an excellent opportunity for an early career candidate to join our growing business.
This opportunity will see you working amongst our award-winning technical teams and people, whereby you will co-ordinate and produce the proposal (EoI, RFI, ITT, RFP etc.) documentation as part of our winning work activity
Current and recent examples of projects we are working on include King Salman Park, NEOM, and Amala.

Your daily responsibilities are expected to comprise the following...
• Collate submission documents - ensuring the accuracy of input, proof-reading and spell checking
• Communicate and co-ordinate graphic requirements with the Visual Communication team
• Assist in the design and production of material relating to the client presentation stage of the bid process.
• Ensure external documentation is compliant with the brand guidelines and bid templates are available
• Ensure the progress of all bids is accurately recorded on our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
• Capture and share model answers and refined project descriptions
• Review input to bids from technical teams against bid criteria, highlighting any potential gaps in information, and ensuring we have understood the client’s requirements and developed a tailored and focused response
• Ensure that all submissions are well written, compliant with what the client has asked for, and are in line with agreed themes and the Buro Happold brand and corporate message.
• Collate, share, and disseminate best practices and lessons learned from bad feedback.

Required skills:
• Previous marketing and bid co-ordination experience
• Strong copywriting and copy-editing skills
• Ability to successfully support high visibility, quick-paced, diverse workload
• Previous experience in coordinating and managing tight deadlines
• Excellent communication skills
• Confident and proactive with the ability to take the lead in challenging situations
• Excellent computer and IT skills including Adobe Design Standard (InDesign specifically), Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and experience in using spreadsheets and databases
• Desirable skills:
• Previous experience within an architectural practice, construction or engineering industries would be an advantage
