Job Description

Country Manager, Saudi Arabia We are working with a highly regarded, technology-focused, independent downhole tool business, supporting them with the appointment of a Country Manager for Saudi Arabia, based on their facility in Dammam. We are looking for a sales & business development lead individual, who can lead the business from the front, delivering high levels of growth across the country, whilst developing and delivering on the country strategy.
Main Responsibilities:
Shaping and leading the country's strategy for growth and development.
Extensive travel for client canvassing, and market interaction to gain business leads from new and existing client base, with the aim of generating profitable sales.
Ensure that adequate operations resources are in place for project deliveries.
Request further resources from the region VP as needed.
Financial planning, market growth (key account) penetration/ strategy planning, operational execution planning, and personnel planning are some of the additional points of responsibility.
Responsible for all sales activity in the assigned area e.g. direct sales, BDM work, marketing functions, etc.
Employee follow-up, including but not limited to appraisal talks and career planning for direct reports.
Financial responsibilities for the country including P&L;
o Creation, contribution, and evaluation of the P&L statements on a monthly/ quarterly basis in close corporation with the Regional Vice President
o Planning/forecasting for budget purposes in close corporation with the Vice President.
Secure client collaboration for R&D projects and field trials.
Manage and submit professional quotes/tenders in response to ITT and/or RFQ.
Evaluation of market trends and opportunities through extensive client contact and market understanding and providing reports as requested.
Ideally, you will have a recent, demonstrable background in business growth and development in Saudi Arabia, with a technical background in; Production Optimisation, Reservoir Engineering, and/or Completions. We are open to candidates who wish to live in Bahrain and commute on a daily basis.
