The Associate Sales Manager will have the opportunity to manage several accounts within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The key focus of the role is to create sustainable growth and deliver world-class sales and follow-up service to our customers through the drive of our value proposition, and strong partnerships with our customers. The candidate will strive to identify new business opportunities and develop customers in the local market by promoting the existing standard portfolio. The successful candidate deals with a broad range of topics including, the tracking of Customer s requests, samples, and products delivery, the managing and closing of non-conformances, the analysis of sales per Customer (per area, per product, per agent/distributor), and negotiations with customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Executes strategic plans for assigned territory and/or account(s) that optimize the use of all Kerry technologies.
Contributes to the total opportunity pipeline and manages project portfolio through SFDC
Develop sales revenue and margin of collection portfolio of products
Provides support and coordination to the customers.
Work with R&D to select appropriate standard products
Manage sample coordination and monitor sample delivery.
Work with Regulatory Affairs and RDA to follow up on the delivery of the declarations to Customers.
Work together with the Head of inside sales and Commercial finance for price quotations and help to solve payment issues.
Working with multiple internal Functions i.e., Supply Chain, R&D, Regulatory, and Sampling, drives resolution to problems and issues making it easy and more valuable for each customer
Implement and negotiate price increases when needed
Prioritize and manage customer projects in collaboration with the local Technical Development teams (limit exception of creation using collection portfolio library as much as possible).
Negotiate sales terms and conditions, variations in price, delivery, and product specifications
Understand Regulatory and Legislation specific to KSA
Utilize standard product portfolio as much as possible.
Qualifications and skills:
A Bachelor s Degree in Food Technology, Business, Economics, Finance, or related
Minimum 3-5 years in sales or sales support experience
Proven track record in working in complex business environments with distributors and key accounts in preferably a multinational environment
Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
A good understanding of food and beverage products - ingredients, flavors, and nutritional aspects would be desirable
Fluent in English and Arabic is mandatory
