Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Participate in setting the goals, initiatives and plans for the division and manage their execution at the department level
• Manage day-to-day activities and operations, including implementation of all policies and procedures, and recommend potential improvements where appropriate
• Assist in the development and management of financial and human resource requirements (annual budget)
• Manage, guide and support employees in the execution of their work and develop them to improve performance
• Baseline the current state of the project financing industry, including identifying existing programs, regulations and laws enacted to support and facilitate financing of the contracting sector as well as challenges as appropriate
• Understand the requirements of the different stakeholders at play such as the bank’s requirement to guarantee the maturity of a loan or the contractor’s project financing requirement
• Assess the current methods employed by financial institutions to evaluate the integrity of the borrower and to channel the funds
• Develop and propose solutions to address issues and challenges identified and in line with identified best practices applied at a global level
• Conduct meetings and coordinate closely with authorities and stakeholders (including contractors and banks) to better understand the impact of proposed solutions on them and feasibility to implement them.

Requirements

Qualification & Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance & Accounting or equivalent, with a minimum of 10 years of related experience
• Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration or related discipline is preferred
• Prior experience of (6 years) in a managerial or supervisory role
• Proficiency in English and Arabic Language is required
