Project Manager, Urban Planning - Saudi Arabia
The market-leading infrastructure recruitment specialist is seeking an experienced Urban Planning Specialist to join a leading International Consultancy to Project Manage a number of schemes in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Opportunity:
This leading International consultancy with a global reputation for delivering major transport and infrastructure projects around the world have very strong relations with various official organization and are included in many of the governmental frameworks in the country.
Responsibilities:
The successful individual shall provide oversight to realize execution excellence in the delivery of all phases of strategic planning projects under his/her direction. He/she shall be responsible for the technical excellence of the tasks and analyses performed, regulatory compliance, and for on-schedule completion of projects within or below budget in accordance with contractual obligations.
Other duties shall include:
• Lead and direct project team and sub-consultants
• Supervise the preparation, design, and presentation of high-quality project deliverables and reports.
• Supervise the preparation of technical submissions.
• Liaise with Project Managers, Discipline Leads, and internal and external team members including master planners, architects, urban designers, specialist designers, all engineering disciplines, and quantity surveyors.
• Plan, program, and delegate within the team structure and participate in workflow reporting and planning.
• Provide continuous liaison with Clients and Client representatives.
• Participate in writing technical proposals, estimating levels of effort, work plans, and schedules as required.
Key requirements for the role:
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture from a recognized university
• Minimum of 15 years experience in the masterplan/urban design field showing increasing levels of responsibility
• Experience managing groups for established Architecture/Engineering firms or the client side
• Experience dealing with KSA or GCC-based municipalities and developers
• Proven leadership and delivery ability
