The King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center (KFSH&RC) is a modern, 1,100+ bed Joint Commission International (JCI)-accredited academic medical facility located in Riyadh, the vibrant capital city of Saudi Arabia.
At the King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre in
Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, the nephrology service includes:
• nephrology consulting services
• kidney transplantation (1,879 between 2010-2019; in 2019, there were 239)
• hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and continuous renal replacement therapies
• outpatient clinics, which manage adult nephrology and renal transplant patients
• inpatient nephrology and renal transplant wards
The hospital also has Fellows in Nephrology, Interventional Nephrology, Transplant Nephrology, and Pediatric Nephrology.
Requirements:
• Medical Degree
• Current, active medical license in Canada, the United States, the UK, Western Europe, Australia, or New Zealand
• Fellowship training in Interventional Nephrology
• National Board subspecialty certification in Nephrology from Canada, the United States, the UK, Western Europe, Australia, or New Zealand
• Minimum three years of post-specialty certification experience as a Consultant Interventional Nephrologist working in a tertiary-care, academic hospital in Canada, the United States, the UK, Western Europe, Australia or New Zealand
