Senior Quantity Surveyor Engineer
Job Description
Act as the liaison between project managers, site engineers, and clients on construction projects, providing technical and administrative information to all parties involved in the project. This skilled position is perfect for individuals who possess technical knowledge but want to work inside an office in a more administrative function. The ability to seamlessly change hats and work with different audiences is essential to this role. Working hours can vary depending on the project schedule, but the typical work is a five-day, nine-hour schedule. While the senior quantity surveyor engineer works with all employees regardless of their position, this position is directly reported to the technical office manager.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for Liaison with Consultant & Client as needed.
• Responsible for measuring and valuing the work done on-site.

Responsible for preparation of project payment and follow-up with the consultant for the approval and release of the payment.
• Responsible for Communication and coordination with the consultant. Engineering & Technical.
• Responsible for reviewing construction plans and preparing quantity requirements.
• Responsible for scrutinizing maintenance and material costs, as well as contracts to ensure the best deals.
• Accountable for liaison with site managers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors who work on the construction of the project.
• Responsible for preparing reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessments, and other documents.
• Responsible for keeping track of materials and ordering more when required.
• Accountable for documenting any changes in design and updating budgets.
• Accountable for establishing and maintaining professional relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
• Conduct feasibility studies to estimate materials, time, and labor costs.
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Management, or similar.
- Ex gulf experience.
- 8 Yrs. of experience in construction projects, where most of the same shall be working as a quantity surveyor engineer.
- Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word). - Computer-aided design software (AutoCAD, etc.) - Knowledge of Cost control.
- Very good written and spoken English language.
