Role Responsibilities:
• Providing technical support for software / hardware-based solutions.
• Delivering high-quality customer service.
• Maintaining close interactions with internal teams.
• Providing on-site support / professional services to our client's customers.
• Participating in customer solution design and project planning.
• Installing / commissioning customer solutions.
• Conduct solution acceptance testing and handover.
• Designing / delivering customer training.
• Creating / maintaining customer support documentation.
• Providing internal and customer reports/metrics.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Relevant tertiary qualification
Relevant Skills / Experience:
• 3 years experience in a telecommunications environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot and prioritize effectively in a multi-tasking environment.
• Database installation and administration (MySQL / Oracle).
• Development/scripting skills (Perl, Bash, JavaScript, Ansible, etc.).
• Exposure to virtualized and Cloud-based architectures.
• Installation and operation of virtualized platforms (VMware) and cloud deployments.
• Linux installation and administration.
• IP LAN / WAN design and administration.
• Web Service configuration/administration (Apache Tomcat).
• You should possess a high level of spoken and written English
Advantageous Experience:
• Elasticsearch, X-Pack, and Kibana.
• Basic understanding of Java and/or C++ coding methodologies.
• Exposure to protocols such as SS7, Sigtran, MAP, SMPP, or Diameter.
