KSA – Jazan

Prepare construction estimates based on engineering designs, drawings, site visits, contractual agreements, and associated materials.
Understanding estimating the scope of work, deliverables, level of engineering, schedule of execution, estimate structure, formats, and reports.
Collects and correlates necessary project-related cost and schedule data needed to determine equipment, material, subcontract, construction labor, expenses, and such indirect as engineering, and taxes.
Based on engineering designs, site visits, and associated materials, selecting relevant information to develop estimates enables the analysis of key themes and trends.
Upon estimate completion, combine estimate breakout and schedule milestones to produce a baseline cash flow for Project Management and the cost engineering team.
Input on strategies, be creative and voice ideas and options to help book work, success hit ratio at 25% is needed, secure subcontractor coverage and active relationships, call subcontractors, and secure their best numbers.
Analyze key themes and trends to ensure all factors are properly considered, priced, and included in the project estimate.
Consult with vendors, personnel in other departments, or engineers to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues
Review material and labor requirements to recommend whether it is more cost-effective to perform work using In House Construction or Contractor Crews
Ability to see multiple relationships and impacts on construction project outcomes
Desired Candidate Profile
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Post-Secondary Degree, preferably in Engineering or equivalent
  • 10 to 15 years in the oil and gas industry.
  • Self-motivated, proactive individual who can work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong, proactive leadership qualities who can overcome obstacles through building successful stakeholder relationships.
  • Demonstrates initiative and assertiveness to gather stakeholder support when required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills to subordinate and senior management audiences.
  • Ability to clearly establish and articulate objectives and expectations.
  • Experience with international companies in Human Resources is an asset
