GENERAL DESCRIPTION / JOB SUMMARY :
Industry:

Oil field equipment supplier in Jubail (Steel Fabrication)
• Prepare designs and drawings as required in the most efficient way with best practices and standards
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
• Preparation of mechanical design package, detail engineering and drawings of equipment such as Pressure Vessel, Heat
Exchanger, Columns, Tanks, Skids, Pipe Spooling (weld mapping) as per the applicable international engineering codes and
client’s specifications.
• Review and check drawings and bills of materials.
• Responsible for the preparation of detail & design engineering package for Department Head&rsquo's review and client’s
approval prior to starting the shop fabrication activities,
• Coordinate with client for timely approval of Engineering Documents and resolve Engineering issues during PO stage.
• Attend meetings with client and internal stakeholders as and when required during the project.
• Preparation of Technical Requirements for materials according to project specifications and review of technical offers
from suppliers.
• Preparation of manual design calculations using Microsoft Excel.
• Coordination with suppliers for Engineering documentation.
• Provide preliminary design required during estimations and bidding stage.
• Participate and contribute to various audits.
COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS :
Technical :
• Knowledge of Codes and Standards and client specifications.
• Knowledge of Engineering processes and materials.
• Proficiency in using software like PVElite, COMPRESS, Solid works, CAD Worx, Auto CAD, and Microstation
Educational Qualifications :
• A degree/diploma holder of Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience :
• Relevant experience in Mechanical Design for at least Five (5) years.
• Familiar with ISO-9001 Quality System and other industry-based quality control and safety directives

Salary: As per the market rate
Working Hours: 48 hrs per week
Contract Duration: 01 year
Vacation: 32 calendar days every year
