Job Description
Oversee the construction activities that take place on the worksite. Managing construction crew, inspecting ongoing work, ensuring adherence to all building codes and Government regulations, arranging for necessary equipment, and keeping construction project costs under budget. Heavily involved in planning, organizing, and controlling deliverables at the site. Responsible for supervising the sub-contractors and labor while maintaining a safe working environment. Responsible for the project deliverables as set out by the project manager to maintain a project schedule completion date.
& amp; amp; bull; Oversee day-to-day operations of the site.
& amp; amp; bull; Establishes, assigns, and adjusts work methods and procedures to meet schedules using knowledge of capacities and capabilities of personnel and equipment.
& amp; amp; bull; Ensure a consistently high standard of work is produced in accordance with specification and quality standards through regular quality inspections.
& amp; amp; bull; Create and maintain good relations with clients, sub-contractors, design teams as well as any other stakeholders.
& amp; amp; bull; Accountable for the development, coordination, and execution of the planning, design, and/or construction management activities and personnel under an individual's direction on a day-to-day basis.
• Attending project management meetings.
• Resolving problems and implementing improvements.
& amp; amp; bull; Arrange labor on a weekly basis in accordance with the labor histogram and program.
& amp; amp; bull; Inform the Planning Manager and Operations Manager of any potential delays on the project.
& amp; amp; bull; Ensure site safety and security; devise and implement site policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of equipment.
& amp; amp; bull; Monitor and control temporary firefighting and other emergency equipment during execution.
& amp; amp; bull; Handle emergencies appropriately according to established procedures; prepare and file accident reports.
& amp; amp; bull; Prevent interruptions and fines by enforcing and fulfilling codes.
& amp; amp; bull; Supervise and evaluate staff; complete employee reviews; keep accurate records of employee attendance and timesheets; provide positive direction to motivate quality performance; discipline personnel when necessary and appropriate.
& amp; amp; bull; Fulfil the role of mentor as and when required.
• Involved in tender planning and short-term operational planning
• Client management and liaison
• Set project goals and oversee projects to completion; schedule and track assignments.
& amp; amp; bull; Liaise with Operations Manager regarding cost control, waste management, variations, and confirmation of instructions.
• Completing records for site reports.
& amp; amp; bull; Oversees the administration of projects during the construction cycle including technical, financial, and client satisfaction
& amp; amp; bull; Ensures material requisitions are issued adequate time achieve construction program.
& amp; amp; bull; Schedule, control, and monitor all materials on a weekly basis.
& amp; amp; bull; Maintains responsibility for the correct stock levels of repair or replacement parts.
Desired Candidate Profile
Expected Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree preferred (construction management, or Mechanical/Civil Engineering)

Expected Experience:
• Minimum 7 years experience in general construction
• Minimum of 5-8 years experience managing fit-out projects
• Minimum 5 years of KSA experience

Job-Specific Knowledge & Skills:
• Ability to read and understand approved drawings, schematics, and construction documentation
• Understanding building codes, safety guidelines, and regulations, recognition of hazards
• Supervising construction team
• Understanding how construction equipment works for inspection, operation, and maintenance of this equipment
• Knowledge of operation, maintenance, and repair of MEP equipment and installations
• Knowledge of supervisory principles and practices.
