Warehouse Supervisor

Full Job Description
Manage the receiving, shipping, handling, issuance, and storage of all freight, product, and supplies.
Communicate all delays or variances inbound /outbound freight to appropriate parties.
Maintain strict control over inventory levels in order to meet internal and external demand for products.
Plan warehouse layout and space requirements in order to prevent losses or damage and to achieve full warehouse optimization.
Manage an annual budget or capital investment plan for warehousing functions across the organization.
Develop and enforce corporate policies regarding safety and security in order to maintain a safe working environment.
Maintain appropriate and complete documentation regarding regulated products and hazardous materials.
Conduct periodic spot checks of inventory levels, supplies, or equipment.
Assess the need for and arrange the purchase of moving equipment like an overhead crane or forklifts.
Identify discrepancies between inventory records and take action.
Control and take action to prevent inventory aging.
Coordinate the interface between logistics functions such as procurement, transportation, and warehousing to ensure efficient, timely, and cost-effective support to the customer.
Coordinate with customers to ensure desired logistics objectives, priorities, and schedules are met and communicated to management.
Material receiving and issuance should control and ensure its records are updated in real-time.
Ensure and take appropriate action for obsolete and expired materials.
Ensure import goods are cleared on time, customs required documentation is prepared in advance, and duty exemption obtaining.
Ensure delivery schedule properly communicating with customers and ensuring goods are delivered within the agreed delivery schedule.
Monitoring and updating delivery schedule.
Ensure GRN and service entry updating on time.
Ensure supplier invoices have been properly verified and sent to finance for payment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
