Localization Accountant

Job Description
Job Purpose:

The purpose of the Localization Accountant’s job is to be responsible for Rawabi BUs on all matters related to localization programs like Akiva and local content.

Principal Accountabilities:

Work closely with BU operation, finance, HR, and corporate localization unit team to prepare localization program surveys.
Responsible for localization program (Akiva, local content, Nuland, Bena, and others) yearly certification and audit process including review, discussion with the auditor, and submissions.
Work closely with all concerned departments to prepare a 5-year localization action plan and forecast at both company/entity and contact level.
Responsible for preparing the quarterly & monthly localization progress report and ensuring timely submission.
Ensures that all localization programs (Akiva, LC, Bena, Nuland, and others) guidelines are implemented and followed.
Responsible for uploading and localization programs (Akiva, LC, Bena, Nuland, and others) surveys and related information through related online portals.
Responding to the queries raised by Saudi Aramco, LCGPA, and others relative to localization programs (Akiva, LC, Bena, Nuland, and others).
Work closely with the commercial team throughout the billing process including but not limited to obtaining approved timesheets, reconciling them with customer agreements, generating electronic customer invoices and accessing the customer portal, and uploading the invoices.
Performs miscellaneous tasks as assigned by his/her direct manager
Skills
Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and administration skills
Ability to manage different tasks simultaneously with attention to detail.
Minimum 2-year experience as a Localization Officer within a company of Rawabi Holding’s size or larger with a role of handling Akiva and localization programs.
Experience in the GCC is a plus, preferably in Saudi Arabia
Arabic language fluency required – English language fluency is a plus
