Job Description

The Project Engineer is responsible for planning, organizing, executing, and controlling all activities related to shutdown & turnarounds coming under the respective window of operation. The Project Engineer will be accountable for delivering and maintaining high standards of customer service through both efforts and safe & timely execution of project assignments.

Responsibilities:

The Project Engineer is responsible for the supervision of Project activities in a time-bounded manner, safely and profitably with quality & standards.

The Project Engineer is responsible for ensuring that his Project Team completes the project activities assigned to them in time.

The project Engineer is responsible for communication, including status reporting, risk management, escalation of issues that cannot be resolved in the team, and in general, making sure the project is delivered within the budget, on schedule, and within the scope of work.

Ensure individual accountability in handling equipment and resources engaged in each assignment and monitor the same.

The Project Engineer is responsible for implementing the best optimization in handling resources within safe limits in order to improve the economics of each assignment.

Also need to ensure complete activities including, directing personnel on the specific job, coordinating and troubleshooting equipment operations problems, assign tasks to the Project Supervisors and crew.

Responsible for proper utilization and optimization of equipment & resources to support the overall benefit of the company.

Minimum requirement:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Chemical/Project Engineering with a minimum of five years experience in static equipment maintenance with petrochemical/refining/chemical plant maintenance.

OR Diploma in Mechanical/Chemical/Project Engineering with a minimum of eight years experience in static equipment maintenance with petrochemical/refining/chemical plant maintenance.

Age limit: 25 - 45 years
