• Plan and execute a comprehensive government affairs strategy to support commercial objectives, in alignment with local requirements and leadership needs
• Acquaint the leadership team of pertinent legislative issues, external factors and updates that could impact the business
• Serve as a key representative for the firm before government bodies and embassies in support of business goals and objectives
• Work with relevant stakeholders to allocate annual departmental budget and track performance throughout the year.
• Suggest cost reduction initiatives where doable
• Define process flow for residency and relocation, taking into consideration different scenarios (dependents, gender, etc.).
• Work with Riyadh Operations Manager to create and update manuals for residency and relocation journeys
• Organize and manage all routine processing of employee services and immigration documents e.g., residence, work permits, medical examination, visas, passports renewal, etc. to complete all the necessary legal formalities to ensure timely and accurate execution
• Be well versed on required immigration policies, procedures, and online government systems
• Develop relevant KPIs and track performance by reviewing statistics and reports for all the visas issued to ensure that issues are highlighted, and process is tracked.
• Continuously monitor and assess operational effectiveness and customer satisfaction, putting into place action plans and recommending solutions to increase efficiency and secure continuous improvement
• Maintain log of employee residency, employment and other visas details and status and trigger processes to renew them in a timely manner within validity periods
• Process all types of visas including employment visas, residence visas/Iqamas for staff and direct family members
• Provide relocating staff and their dependents with operational and on-the-ground support (where needed) on key services (driving licenses, car leases, helpers, SIMs etc.), ensuring compliance to public policies
• Prepare statements and reports timely and accurately to meet the company requirements, policies, and standards for all government relation affairs
• Complete departure and exit formalities for employees after cancellation of visas
• Facilitate the processing of attestation and translation of documents for the company and employees

Requirements

Knowledge, skills, and abilities
• Bachelor’s Degree in business or any related discipline
• Minimum 5 years local experience liaising with Immigration, Labor department and other government entities for all employee affairs
• Good knowledge of Saudi labor and immigration rules is a must
• Expert in all type of visa processing and license renewable
• Strong interpersonal, intrapersonal and communication skills
• Fluency in Arabic and English is a must
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint); Digital systems proficiency is a plus
• Saudi national
