Full Job Description
Inspects, repairs, and tests fire extinguishers using hand tools, hydrostatic test equipment, and monitoring devices.
Inspects, repairs and tests pump devices using hand tools, hydrostatic test equipment, and monitoring devices.
Dismantles extinguishers and examines mechanical parts, extinguishing agents, and expelling means; replaces worn or damaged parts.
Cleans extinguishers and recharges them with approved materials. Inspects, tests, and repairs systems such as smoke detectors, sprinklers, dry standpipe systems, and pull systems.
Assists in a fire safety inspection.
Coordinates the activities of Fire Equipment Technicians.
Maintains records of all inspections, tests, repairs, and remodeling of extinguishing systems.
Assists in inspecting buildings, investigating fires, and evaluating fire hazards, and hazardous materials as required.
Advises departments on the need uses, and types of fire extinguishers.

Salary: ﷼2,500.00 - ﷼2,800.00 per month
