Job Description
Job Summary :

Provide Data Modelling services for the Enterprise data warehouse.

Main Responsibilities :

Lead, design, develop, maintain, implement, support, and document data architecture and data modeling solutions, including but not limited to, the Enterprise Data Warehouse, Data Marts, and other product or subject-area marts to support information management, business intelligence, and other business purposes.

Detailed Tasks :

Designs stable and flexible high-performance database solutions, maximizing data reuse and avoiding data redundancy, according to the current and anticipated business rules

Perform detailed data analysis.

Responsible for developing and maintaining logical and physical data models and assisting with the definition of process models

Responsible for defining the data structures (logical and physical) to support data integrity, performance, and recoverability across batch, real-time, and near real-time frameworks

Responsible for defining the data structures in accordance with business and data requirements

Identify the key facts and dimensions necessary to support the business and requirements, performing the activities necessary to support the standardization of entities and attributes.

Develop entity and attribute descriptions and definitions for the models and endure that conflicts in data models are resolved

Perform source data quality assessments

Assist the business liaison and ETL function with data-related issues such as assessing data quality, data consolidation, evaluating existing data sources, etc.

Perform re-engineering of source models when necessary

Gather requirements and apply strong analysis and design skills to build system specification
Desired Candidate Profile
Technical Required Skills :

Advanced level in Architecting, Modelling, Integrating, and Reporting Data solutions for Enterprise Data Warehouse.

Advanced Level in SQL and using data modeling tools like ( ER Studio ) within different databases like ( Teradata & Oracle ).

Hands-On experience in implementing the solutions using Teradata FsLDM Data Model.

Experienced in complex large-scale data warehouse projects, data integration projects, and/or business intelligence projects. (5+ years)

Exposure to Big Data & Cloud technologies, NoSQL databases, and Hadoop. This will be a big plus

Experience in working with Agile methodology.

Master Data Management experience. This will be a big plus

Data Quality and Metadata Management Knowledge.
