Parsons is now hiring a Senior Project Manager - Structures who can lead a team of professionals overseeing every phase of large-scale projects.

We need our Senior Project Managers to be versatile as well as have exceptional communication, analytical, and management skills. In this role, you provide management and direction for one Engineering department or a major section within one of the larger disciplines. You will recruit, interview, and evaluate prospective employees as well as hire, offer personnel development, conduct performance evaluations, counsel employees to take corrective actions (as required), and approves terminations. One of your roles will include ensuring that new employees receive orientation on company policies and procedures.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES :

Leads planning and delivery for structures assets of the program and ensures operational consistency across the program.

Coordinate with other delivery partners (Jacobs and Mace), as well as QIC and all existing contractors, and future planned procurement of major contractors.

Implement agreed-on strategies, through the delivery of PMP s and other key documents and approaches in accordance with program requirements and accepted best practices.

Lead the implementation and application of advanced principles, theories, and concepts, ensuring compliance and consistency across the delivery teams.

Contribute to the development of innovative principles and ideas.

Leads on unusually complex structures assets challenges and provides solutions that are highly creative, in coordination with functional leads.

Facilitates forming partnerships with key stakeholders and organizations impacted by the program.

Assigns work to employees, oversees, and tracks the completion of work assignments.

Interviews and selects personnel for assignment as required.

Maintains clear and concise work standards and goals; provides training and development; completes performance evaluations, conducts employee counseling, and takes corrective action as necessary.

Ensures adherence to all corporate, contractual, ethics, and safety standards, policies, and procedures.

Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

Degree in Engineering or related discipline with a minimum of 15 years experience in mega construction projects, specifically strong structural management experience across multi-disciplinary teams.

Advantageous to have extensive experience in significant PM/CM contracts and contracting in challenging multi-partner environments.

Very strong communication skills in English, written and spoken.
