Job Purpose:
To Support the implementation of the EHS Management System (MS) at the CU level (plants, DCs, transportation and Sales) through the building of the necessary competencies to all concerned parties to ensure proper understanding the implementation of risk mitigation controls so that EHS targets are achieved.
Key Accountabilities:
Put the EHS Policy into implementation and assume all responsibilities assigned in the EHS MS.
Ensure the implementation and full compliance to Training, communication and awareness programs and procedure among all facilities/functions.
Review and approve all EHS training materials after ensuring it meets the required quality and complies and fully address the related PepsiCo EHS standards and the related local legislations.
Develop new training materials for unaddressed or uncovered areas or in case of new standards, legislations, systems, identified hazards…etc. or based repeated audit findings or incidents trends.
Own the training materials and ensure only updated versions are being used.
Continuously review facilities/functions training plans and ensure they are covering all employees and addressing all types of hazards that they are subject to, including the general area-related hazards and the specific job/task-related hazards.
Collect EHS-delivered training data, analyze them, prepare reports covering types, qualities, and quantities and provide recommendations to ensure training programs meet their goals.
Monitor and evaluate the performance of the EHS trainers in terms of quality and capability.
Improve the training capability of EHS trainers by delivering training the trainer courses specifically for critical safety subjects / Standards.
Identify EHS training external costs and ensure including such in the short- and long-term plans (AOPs, SBPs…etc.) and plan and support the execution with concerned departments.
Any other actions or responsibilities assigned by the direct manager that is in line and supports the job main purpose.

Strong people management skills in creating a participative environment and a high-performance team with an experience of +5 years in a managerial position preferably in the same field.
Auditing qualification (OHSAS 18001 lead auditor or equivalent).
Problem solving and strong analytical thinking (root-cause analysis, setting action plans…etc.).
The ability to systemize processes through developing the systems, putting them into implementation, and ensuring their sustainability.
Self-starter able to work independently with a high degree of business savvy.
Technical Audit Skills and experience.
Excellent Planning & Organizing skills, project management & change management capability.
Excellent communication and presenting skills and the ability to engage with and influence the behaviors of others internally and externally without a direct reporting relationship.
Knowledge of EHS applicable legislations.
Recognised EHS qualification; NEBOSH IGC3 at a minimum and preferably NEBOSH diploma.
Excellent command of English language and literacy in computer usage.
Ability to coach and support others to ensure requirements understood/met.
Engineering background is preferred.
