Under the direction of the DOP manages the day-to-day operations of custodial, grounds, and building maintenance activities. Participates in developing, recommending, and administering policies, procedures, and processes in support of departmental operations. Responds to client inquiries and requests for service and supervise administrative services paraprofessionals and technical/support staff.

The Facilities Operations (Fac. Ops) Manager also schedules, assigns, reviews, and supervises the work of all employees in Facilities Operations representing a variety of work skills necessary for the maintenance and repair of the PCC’s facilities, buildings, grounds, custodial and equipment; participates in the design, review, and planning of new construction and remodeling projects; and does related work as required.

Responsibilities:

Ø Serves as the primary representative for client accounts within a designated geographic area.

Ø Responsible for providing operational support to existing and prospective client accounts within a designated geographic area.

Ø Fosters client relationships and negotiates client contracts to increase new business opportunities and profitability for the Company.

Ø Responsible for policy compliance, staff development, financial performance, and client retention.

Ø Support operational functions to maintain compliance with established Key Performance Indicators (KPI).

Ø Evaluating existing processes to identify ways to eliminate inefficiencies, expenses, and unnecessary work.

Ø Assisting and supporting the other departments.

Ø Through the development of feasibility studies, pricing and cost proposals.

Ø Conducting inspection tours of facilities to provide the information needed to develop a proposal for prospective clients.

Ø Monitors the safety and accessibility of the clients and its facilities.

Requirements:

Ø Degree in facilities management, engineering, or property management.

Ø Knowledge and understanding of best practices, operations, and standards.

Ø Strong interpersonal skills.

Ø Excellent communication skills.

Ø Project management experience.

Ø Good knowledge of regulations and laws.

Ø Multitasking abilities.

Ø Computer literacy.

Ø Good problem-solving skills.

Ø Be highly organized.

Ø Good negotiating skills.
