Job Profile
As an Electrical Supervisor, you will be responsible for the electrical maintenance of the Utility machines, and other Electrical distribution equipment, in the factory including, low and high voltage-related problems by performing maintenance jobs properly and within the due dates. Troubleshooting of the Electrical distribution/ Utility machines and other equipment with an engineering approach. Supervises and coordinates activities of Electrician and Maintenance Electrician engaged in construction.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure adequate safety measures are taken during equipment maintenance to safeguard personnel & equipment
Help in implementing safe ways of working in engineering. - Perform General maintenance of Electrical panels. Assist Manager Utilities in all Electrical related new projects.
- Assist Manager Utilities with the Installation and Commissioning of the Utility equipment.
- Assist Utility Manager with modification in the electrical system. In addition to supervisory duties, purchase supplies, ensure adequate inventory, plan budgets, prioritize purchases, prepare cost estimates, and document their purchases.
- Ensure proper coordination with the validation team in validation activities of the Electrical plant/equipment. Provide support to the Maintenance/ Utility department for schedule maintenance.
- Assist. Manager Utilities in completing IQ/ OQ of Electrical equipment. Lead Electrical equipment operations and maintenance to ensure uninterrupted supplies.
- Participate in capital expenditure projects, equipment installation, turnover/handover, start-up, commissioning, and associated training.
- Ensure good communication between the cross-functional team members; fosters teamwork motivates personnel and aim toward continual improvement.
- Review and update all Electrical SOP related to operation and maintenance.
- Provide maintenance training to operators, Technicians, and contractors to perform the smooth operation and proper maintenance.
- Ensure that all Electrical activities are performed meeting the cGMP requirements.

- Review and update all Calibration SOP related to operation and maintenance
- Provide maintenance training to operators, Technicians, and contractors to perform the smooth operation and proper maintenance.
- Ensure that all Calibration activities are performed meeting the cGMP requirements
- Ensure smooth operation of Electrical Distribution network, Power Generation and Electrical Equipment.
- Troubleshooting of Low and High voltage supply systems. Review electrical engineering drawings and refer to issues requiring changes, prepare SOP for operation and maintenance of Electrical network
- Troubleshooting of all Electrical distribution network/ machines and other Utility equipment for electrical-related faults.
- Assist Utility Manager with modification in the electrical system. In addition to supervisory duties, purchase supplies, ensure adequate inventory, plan budgets, prioritize purchases, prepare cost estimates, and document their purchases
- Any wiring required in the Utility Area. Ensure the proper Installation of equipment, compliance with electrical codes, and adherence to safety regulations. Designing electrical systems and circuits, as well as contributing to improved designs and manufacturing processes.
- Installation of new equipment and new electrical connection in the Utility area. Assist with electronics system installation, troubleshooting and repair as needed
- Supervise and execute all Electrical connections and maintenance of electrical distribution. Participate in capital expenditure projects, equipment installation, turnover/handover, start-up, commissioning, and associated training.
- Ensure good communication between the cross-functional team members; fosters teamwork motivates personnel and aim toward continual improvement.
- Establish a site-wide total maintenance program including outsourcing of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and automation support for day-to-day operations in a cGMP manufacturing environment for both utility plants.
- Create an organized work system that allows efficient planning and scheduling while working with internal customers. Implement and operate CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for the sites.
- Assist in developing repairs and maintenance budget, plans to staff to meet site requirements.
Identify improvement opportunities and initiate reliability-based programs. Active engagement in training needs analysis and ensuring personnel is well trained in the skills required for job performance.
Qualifications:
Bachelors in Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 3 to 4 years of experience in manufacturing companies.
Must have worked as a Utility engineer in a manufacturing company.
Must have worked with good knowledge of Utility distribution systems, operations, and maintenance.
Water treatment plant operation and maintenance.
Advanced knowledge of HVAC operation for manufacturing plant.
Area qualification, water system validation, and GMP documentation of the engineering department.
Calibration and preventive maintenance.
