Primary Responsibilities
1. Leadership
To develop and implement a successful business strategy for KSA which is consistent with the overall strategy and objectives of Dabur.
Develop and implement a long-term country-specific strategy for the region consistent with the strategic imperatives of Dabur International.
Overall P&L responsibility for the region.
Sales budget-Achieving sales budget for the region.
Sales strategy-Devise short-term and long-term country-specific sales strategies.
Maximize business by exploring new business avenues/opening up new markets in the region/ convert opportunistic markets to potential markets.
Build and develop an organization that can provide sustainable growth.
Assist the marketing department in setting up the marketing strategy for the region.
2. Trade/channel management
Define the trade channel structure and ensure distribution effectiveness for each market.
To identify new channels (example-salon, pharmacy, HORECA) for business growth.
Develop long-term relationships with senior management within key accounts/ identify strong potential business partners.
To ensure service effectiveness for all channels handled.
3. S&D Objectives
Defining and achieving S&D objectives
Infrastructure development as per business requirement.
Setting up of distribution and coverage targets
Developing & maintaining value chains/pricing structure
Responsible for Trade Marketing activities.
4. Commercial control
Keep control over the business overheads & distribution expenses.
Ensures adherence to financial disciplines and controls.
Manage headcount & operating expenses within the agreed budget and assign Delegation of Authorities.
5. People management
Ensure sales force effectiveness by managing, motivating, and developing personnel.
Provide mentorship to all teams across functions.
Develop & maintain organizational structure for various functions in the region.
Ensure adherence to norms and discipline in the region.
6. Other objectives
Liaison with external agencies like government authorities to ensure smooth operation.
-Compliance with the statutory requirements as per the legal requirements.
