Job Description

- Maintains communication with the client's site discipline engineers on all project related issues
- Reviews, understands and implements on site the contract drawings and specifications.
- Prepares project reports (written and photographic) on progress of the works, quality and technical conformance of the works, safety and other matters. Takes daily photographs of the work and collate the photographic data into a report.
- Supervises and implements on site the approved design in accordance with national and international codes of practice and established KEO project management policy and procedures manual.
- Prepare and submit daily report.
- Identifies issues and risks that need to be brought to the attention of senior management.
- Supervises and inspects the site works in progress (as and when directed by senior management) throughout the day and continually monitors all critical areas for quality, safety and progress.
- Point of contact for senior site personnel on project architectural issues.
- Coordinates with other project discipline engineers.
- Attends project meetings.
- Ensures materials delivered to site conform strictly to those approved.
- Attends and monitors day-to-day site activities.
- Ensures implementation of quality measures at site for works.
- Follow-ups with the contractor to implement project specification/ standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Reviews CAD drawings, renderings, layouts, study models, construction documents, and colour boards prepared by Architectural Designers. Makes new proposals and/or modify existing drawings when necessary. Ensures compliance with applicable codes and standards as well as client requirements.
- Writes construction specifications and prepares detailed requisitions for equipment and materials when needed. Interfaces with suppliers as required.
- Make sure that any activity offered for inspection has an approved shop drawing, Method Statement( MS) Quality Control Procedure (QCP) and Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) and that the latest version of the applicable document is available at point of use.
- Issued Non- Conformance ( NCR ) and follow up for closing after rectification prior to release inspection request (IRF) approval .
- Prepare punch list jointly with site engineer and sign off upon rectification.
- Review documents such as drawings , Inspection and Test Plan (ITP), Quality Control Procedures (QCP) and Method Statement (MS) provided by contractors.

Qualifications

- To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 10-15 years work experience partnered with a Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
- You will have worked on high end resort or hotel projects previously and be comfortable with being on site.
- LEED highly regarded. Member of RIBA and/or AIA. Revit & Navis Experience is sought along with Auto Cad.
- The project uses Microsoft Office therefore you will be comfortable using these tools as well.
