Job Description

- Develops overall project procurement strategy, sequencing, phasing and logistics, in conjunction with (where applicable) the Project Controls Managers & the Project Leader.
- Planning, cost and schedule metrics and tools (work breakdown structure), collecting performance data (installed quantities, expended labour hours, and other progress measurements for direct & subcontract labour ), tracking data (daily cost compilation and monitoring), analyse and report (earned value, productivity and risk analysis)
- Develops the project master schedule, updates, monitors and reviews contractor construction schedules, submittals, material delivery, procurement logs and daily follow-up in addition to the necessary productivity measurement studies and associated corrective measures.
- Prepares, implements, analyses and reports on KPI's appropriate to the stage of project development.
- Implements 'Work Order' procedures in conjunction with QA/QC staff. Identify and track changes, actual and potential, to the project scope, ensuring estimates of cost changes and schedule impact are given visibility with the client and project management.
- Participates in contract administration
- Reviews and approves contractor's work programs submissions.
- Maintains and reports on project metrics issued from and through consultants, contractors and document control.
- Coordinates and where requested prepares project procedural plans in line with the requirements of the contract and the KEO PPM.
- Leads the preparation and presentation of the project monthly Report on behalf of the Project Leader.
- Assists in the preparation and maintenance of the Project Risk Plan.
- Attends and where required minutes project meetings.
- Facilitates project progress meetings.
- Prepares long lead monitoring schedule and updates and monitors in conjunction with the suppliers and contractors as they are appointed.
- Assist in compilation and coordination of project monthly report, including preparation of project control sections.
- Works with and/or acts as the QA Engineer in all QMC matters.
- Assists in the implementation of EVM.
- Perform all other duties requested by Senior Project Controls Staff/Project Leader.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- Manage and identify long lead items.
- Arrange and manage planning workshops/meetings to discuss and assist contractors / consultants to close their planning / project control issues.
- Preparing design programs for projects under design and guideline programs for projects to be started / under-progress.
- Provide assistance and advice in the management of claims and disputes, and prepare claim and counter- claim register including "cause and effect" of all events in claims logs.
