Full Job Description
Job Title: Civil Design Engineer

Department: Technical Department

Location: Riyadh

Reporting to: Technical Director

Duties and Responsibilities:

Previous experience with Consultants for design work is a must.
.Undertaking technical and feasibility studies
Using range of computer software for design development
liaising with technical office, especially in preparing tender, in SOW analysis and understanding, writing methodology for the implementation of works and method of statement in the supervision of Construction site
Assessing potential risk
Monitor projects and compile reports for the management.
Reviews Client's technical documentation and requirements.
Maintains project technical files
Controls of subcontracted civil engineering documents
Prepares design specifications
Develops functional layout of buildings
Prepares MTOs and BOQs.
Prepares S.O.W. and technical specifications for civil Design works
Develop civil design, constructive drawings of buildings, plot plans, and foundation drawings.
Implements discipline follow-up activities.
Implements field engineering activities

Qualifications and Professional Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
Previous experience with Consultants for design work is a MUST.
From 2 to 3 years of experience on Civil/Structural Design engineering.
Knowledge on computer programs for Civil/Structural discipline.
Knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
Good organizational, analytical and communication skills.
Willingness to continual learning, upgrading-himself, and establishing as a Fully Qualified recognized Civil engineer.
