Able to perform a critical analysis of -planning work prepared by others
Able to support, mentor, and coordinate junior planners within a team
Able to communicate and defend planning to project team members
Perform delay analysis work using various techniques
Planning support for a single large/ complex project
Management & coordination of a project planning team.
Competencies:
Good understanding of key contract documents and how they relate to the planning process;
Good understanding of general construction in various sectors like in Building, Civil, Marine, Environment etc.
Able to develop a WBS for a medium project;
Application of various delay analysis techniques;
Preparation of resource & cost-loaded baseline programs for medium projects;
Preparation of progress reports using various visual techniques;
Preparation of recovery/ target programs;
Use visual tools to assist in communicating planning, e.g. Line of Balance, Time Displacement, etc.
Highly skilled in Primavera Software
Highly proficient in the use of MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint;
Good knowledge of other planning software, like Tilos
Qualifications
You have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, preferably Civil/ Marine Construction.
Has a minimum 8-10 years of work experience in Civil and Marine works in the field of planning
You have very good knowledge with Ms Office package.
You can review, and extract information from drawings using AutoCad (preferable)
You are fluent in English.
You are ready to travel abroad
