Job Description

• The Desktop Support Administrator role is to provide a single point of contact for end users to receive support and maintenance within the organization's desktop computing environment. This includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all hardware and related equipment (including but not limited to laptops, iPhones, printers and scanners) to ensure optimal user experience and access.
• Responsible for monitoring, operating, managing, troubleshooting and restoring IT support to any user that has authorized access to the corporate network
• Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot printers, computer hardware, mobile devices and any other authorized peripheral equipment
• Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot Windows 10 and Microsoft Office 2016/2019 and any other authorized desktop applications
• Monitoring and responding to incoming service and support requests in line with published service level agreements
• Escalate issues and involve experts wherever required in order to resolve issues as required
• (Email) account administration account creation, management, group membership
• Manage user equipment stock and order, register additional stock

Requirements

• Bachelor degree,
• 5+ years of profile experience,
• Knowledge of the local market with regards to contracts, hardware and licenses (such experience is a must),
• Desktop support experience in a multinational Windows 10 environment,
• Good understanding of IT,
• Knowledge of Microsoft SCCM build technologies,
• Solid understanding of MS Active Directory and Windows Server 2016/2019, as are TCP/IP skills, and a reasonable understanding of basic networking topologies (patching etc.),
• Knowledge of ActiveSync mobile technologies/MDM (like MobileIron),
• Experience in big multicultural companies,
• Customer oriented, pro-active,
• Languages: Arabic (native), English (fluent),
• Native citizens of KSA - preferable (because of the local labor law)
