Responsibilities:
Review Developer's reports.
Review Construction Reports.
Prepare Management Reports.
Recommend solutions for the encountered delays.
Analyze delays and recommend recovery plans.
Normalize and standardize the schedule of work.
Advise on the weighing scale with respect to the WBS.
Organize project review meetings, evaluate, and report to CM about project growth.
In conjunction with the Head of the Cost Management Division, prepare and maintain a Branch procedures manual covering but not limited to:
Planning management training and support.
Standard WBS Structure.
Standard Programme Structure for Level 1, 2, and 3 programs.
Planning procedures and control.
Time Management Plan.
Claims management EOT Delay analysis.
Preparation/Review of all tender program submissions.
Resource planning and development of all Project Control Staff.
Establishment of a program structure in conjunction with the development of the budget structure.
Planning for all newly awarded projects.
Oversee the development of a more detailed schedule preparation for the Site Project Planner.
Establishment of four weekly look ahead programs procedures for on-site project planners.
Establishment and maintenance of earned value-reporting procedures.
Responsible for overall project deliverables and management of the constraints of the project (schedule/Financials/customer requirements).
Provide financial performance reviews, project execution, and schedule on an ongoing basis.
Identify and mitigate project risks.
Drive digitization strategy for project control process software systems and tools.
Coach and train employees in project management and control procedures for the mix of projects while driving accountability for the results.
Interface with commercial and engineering functions to coordinate project development implementation and control, resulting in project volume and profitability.
Familiarise himself with the relevant Quality, Environmental, Safety, and Occupational Health Policies, Manuals, and Procedures within Hill International, and ensure continued compliance with these requirements while employed by Hill.
Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager/supervisor.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction, Business Administration or equivalent.
Total of 10 years of working experience in a similar role.
Extensive knowledge of leading or executing project control elements is required.
Extensive knowledge of Primavera P6 is required.
Possessing a PMP-SP (Project Manager Professional – Scheduler Professional) Certificate or a similar certificate will also be valued.
Ability to think ahead, identify new opportunities, and create new and innovative approaches to work-related issues.
Excellent command of written and spoken English.
