Job Description
What you will need to do:

• Monitor and record marine mammals and other protected species activity during marine activities to assist in protected species handling
• Actively contribute to the development of method statements and other environmental plans to address protected species risks
• Contribute to the development of and implement all aspects of the Specialized Protected Species Management Plan to marine activities impacts on protected species
• Raise awareness on protected species through training /inductions
• Complete daily protected species observation and monitoring and compile relevant required reports
• Integrate into the work planning team to incorporate proactive protected species impact mitigation measures.

What you will need to have:

• Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university
• JNCC certificate as an MMO.
• BOEM/BSEE certificate as a PSO (preferred)
• Minimum 3 years experience as an MMO/PSO in different areas
• Experience as a PSO with sensitive species such as birds-turtles
• Previous gulf experience preferred and transferable iqama as well
