Location: Dammam

ABOUT THE JOB

Purpose:

Lead lab team in the morning, evening and night shifts and ensure smooth lab operations by performing process monitoring and product testing according to approved quality plans. Be an escalation point for any product/process non-conformance during shift operations and provide technical guidance to the team from food safety and quality perspective. Verify line start up process and perform PRP, OPRP and CCP verification.

Accountabilities:
Lead the lab shift team and ensure all testing are carried out according to product quality plans, maintain accuracy in the generation, recording, and communication of results/reports.
Perform process monitoring and ensure all process lines are running on standard parameters.
Highlight non-conformance to the relevant department lead and ensure corrective actions are been taken.
Provide technical assistance to the lab and plant team from food safety & quality perspective.
Be a primary point of contact for all out-of-specification product & process results and provide guidance to the shift team.
Monitor performance of all equipment and become able to identify and troubleshoot problems. Set schedule for equipment calibration and maintain their records.
Maintain retention samples in readily available manner to support the complaint investigation process and timely response to customers.

ABOUT YOU

You would possess the following:

Qualification:      Bachelor of Science or Diploma in Food or Chemical Technology
Experience:        4+ years of experience in the Dairy or Food Industry in shift operations
Skills:                  RCA and CAPA Management, Lab Analytical skills, Conflict Management, Problem Solving, MS Office
Other:                  Valid Saudi Iqama required
