As a Directional Driller / Field Specialist, you'll run the operations of drilling sites using the latest technology. You'll have access to innovative equipment to effectively monitor the client well sites. You will troubleshoot problems and act quickly to ensure efficiency is maintained.
As a Directional Driller / Field Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Providing advice and direction to external customers and third-party wellsite colleagues.
- Communicating technical guidance and advice to customers and third-party wellsite colleagues
- Solving often complex drilling problems, by monitoring, analyzing, and evaluating incidents using logging and drilling data
- Providing resolution to a diverse scope and range of complex problems at the well site.
- Having a broad knowledge of the product line's tools and services.
- Following internal compliance and HSE standards to ensure a safe working environment
Requirements
Requirements:
- Have at least 4 years of experience as a directional driller
- Have previously worked with equipment used by Schlumberger.
- Working experience in Saudi Arabia or the Middle East.
- Show the ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
- Show good problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and implement improvements
- Be a positive team player and show the ability to adapt in an ever-changing, dynamic environment
- Be fluent in English (oral and written) and excellent all-round communication skills
- 4+ years experience in directional drilling with Schlumberger tools and equipment.
