Reporting to: Engineering Services Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified candidate for a mid-level position on our engineering services team. The candidate will technically assist the company in delivering its products and solutions to clients in the Middle East. Our company is based in Jubail Industrial City, Saudi Arabia, and our products and services are predominantly in the real-time data and information systems field with a focus on business intelligence, data analytics, and engineering applications.

Key Responsibilities

· Participate in the design of information management systems, including network, computer hardware, software specifications, and configuration of selected software products

· Installation, configuration, and testing of company application software and selected 3rd party vendor software products, including Windows operating systems

· Responsible for system administration and integration including interfacing, Cybersecurity requirements, virtualization, AWS/Azure Cloud, and system availability/reliability

· Attend client/project meetings to achieve Project milestones

· Project scheduling and Progress Reporting

· Delivery of customer support and product training as required

· Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution

· Interact and manage tickets and support requests in systems such as JIRA, Slack, etc

· Generation of project lifecycle documentation

Requirements/Qualification and Experience

The ideal candidate will possess most of the following:

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer and Communications or Electrical Eng’g, or Computer Science, Information Systems, or Mathematics, or comparable

· Experience with installation and configuration of MS Windows Server OS and components

· Experience with managing and system administration of entire customer networks including Windows/Linux OS, switches/firewalls, authentication systems, and Cybersecurity tools/applications

· Experience with Python, Visual Studio, .NET, and C# in addition to solid scripting skills

· Experience with virtualization and containerization (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V, Virtual Box)

· Solid command of MS products such as SQL Server, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project

· Ability and desire to learn and master new products in a timely manner

· Ability and desire to work locally and abroad with no restrictions on obtaining visas

The below points are a bonus for the potential applicant:

· Experience with data historians such as OSIsoft PI, IP21, Ph.D., etc
