Position Accounting supervisor – Finance and Accounts

Grade TBD

Reporting to the Finance Manager

Purpose Managing and overseeing the complete finance and accounting function of Eastern Allied Transport Company in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibility Areas

Responsible for managing and overseeing the day-to-day accounting
Responsible for preparing and analyzing the accounting data and produce the financial reports or statements.
To ensure compliance with accounting methods, policies, and principles.
Ensure that intercompany transactions and balances are up to date. There are group companies present both in and outside KSA.
To be the primary POC for all discussions related to all areas of Finance and accounts.
To ensure local compliances, laws, and regulations in KSA like Zakat, VAT, etc.
Maintain strong professional relationships with banks.
To prepare for the monthly review meetings on financials review with Group CFO & CEO.
Review of the account heads to optimize overall efficiency and cost management.
Prepare daily & weekly reports as requested by the Management.
Completely responsible for the timely completion of all the Bank reconciliations.
Responsible for getting the accounts of the company audited.
Review of the accounts receivable and follow up with the clients for payment follow-up.
Maintain strong professional relationships with banks.
Actively support internal & external audits.
Ensure subordinates are reviewed and take initiatives for their development like training etc.

Key Performance Indicators

I am keeping the issues open for a long time without closing them.
Delay in monthly closing the books of accounts.
Keeping the accounts upto date along with intercompany reconciliation.
Internal customer satisfaction survey
Competencies

Adequate knowledge of accounting along with relevant methods, policies, and principles.
Ability to maintain the accounts of 2 or more companies & manage intercompany transactions.
Adequate knowledge of local compliances and regulations in KSA.
ERP knowledge -preferably Oracle

Education Professional Accounting qualification

Experience 5-6 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in the logistics/ Supply chain Industry.
