Resident Engineer

Job Description
*The Resident Engineer provides oversight of the construction process to ensure that the design documentation is safely and accurately implemented on-site and that the requirements of the construction contract are followed.

*Site Supervision Management and Administration, Coordination, Chairing Site Progress Meetings, Liaison with the Design Manager, Project Management, and Client Representative

* Proactive leading proper and firm administration of the contract that will render control of quality cost and time as well as authorities.

§*Administration and Managing/monitoring of Review & Approval of Technical Submittals, Material Submittals, Method Statements, Procedures, Shop Drawings RFI, As-Built Documents/ drawings and Check Requests.

*Monitoring Contractor’s Progress of work.

*Broad & thorough knowledge of different FIDIC Contract Editions as well as extreme knowledge of site & construction management.

Desired Candidate Profile
* B.sc in Civil Engineering from a recognized University or relevant professional qualification.

*Minimum 20 years relevant experience. Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in similar projects. Minimum 10 years experience in Saudi Arabia.

*Certified member of Saudi Council of Engineers

*Extensive experience with High Rise Buildings / Hotels

* Transferable Iqama

*Previous experience gained with a large consultancy firm in the gulf region would be highly beneficial.

*Ability to communicate in English, both verbal and written.

*Proficiency in other languages, especially Arabic is a plus.
