Major Responsibilities & Duties performed:

Requires and reviews job orders for each significant definitive work request.
Assigns job order required material to labor and Material coordinators.
Assures job order has proper approval and priority.
Prepares weekly forecasts and chairs weekly forecast meetings.
Prepares daily schedule for foreman/maintenance craftsman.
Receives and processes daily schedule and late (done) reports from yesterday.
Facilities maintenance activity with production.
Maintain the integrity of the unit PM program i.e. Checklist, Trigger, Frequency, Compliance, etc., and schedules
Establishes and maintains equipment, Part catalog, equipment’s history, and store-room min/max level.
Coordinate with central shops/project scheduler.
Raise stores to purchase requisitions for planned jobs.
Review actual vs. planned job orders and reports.
Coordinates special program equipment surveys etc.
Identifies recurring maintenance problems.
Facilitates maintenance performance parameters of the unit.
Assists superior for budget preparations.
Responsible for performance evaluation of employees on yearly basis.
Responsible to give departmental planned safety training to foreman/craftsman and training record to be maintained.
Responsible to report any breakdown, accident, incident, near miss and hazardous condition.
Responsible to take corrective and preventive actions for breakdowns.
Responsible for spares/repairing jobs in the maintenance area.
Responsible for all breakdowns.
To understand and follow the organizational HS&E policies.
To follow safety instructions related to their jobs.
To identify risks and preparation of risk assessment documents.
To avoid any horseplay and abuse of safety devices, equipment and welfare facilities.
To attend safety pieces of training planned for them.
Having a right to say “NO” to any unsafe work.
