Responsibilities:
As Project Financial Controller you will be working on an LSTK project where you will ssist in the development and continued maintenance of the Company's financial reporting systems and internal reporting utilities and close process. Analyze and overcome obstacles to effectively deliver information and to promote the timely production and availability of financial data to management for decision-making. Review and monitor financial transactions with the ability to understand impacts to management reports. Address questions from colleagues, management, and other internal customers. Understand the core businesses of the Company and related organizational structure. Review and monitor financial transactions. Coordinate financial report preparation and analysis for actual, budget and forecast data. Interacts with other departments and other business units to resolve issues. Challenges status quo and recommends process improvements to enhance productivity, timeliness, data integrity, and quality of work products. May resolve complex accounting issues through technical research and collaboration with the Technical Accounting group. This position will focus on assisting to strengthen our current internal reporting to ensure the department is positioned to manage increased demands in a dynamic growth-oriented environment.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs database input as required in any finance role, Performs routine subsystem reporting for accounts receivables, account payables, inventory, fixed assets, and payroll.
Performs balance sheet account reconciliation.
Responsible for supporting all tax requirements, and ensuring that all transactions are properly booked in the correct currency.
Understanding of inventory processes, days on hand, evaluating obsolescence provision adequacy, and assessment of future business needs.
Understanding of fixed assets processes under US GAAP and IFRS procedures ensures that all financial transactions are recorded in compliance with WFT policies and procedures.
Ensure adherence to corporate ethical policies and internal controls.
Understands, reviews. Reconciliations, coordinates, and reviews balance sheets.
Qualifications:
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
Must have previous experience of working on LSTK projects is essential
Experience in negotiating with suppliers
Skills typically acquired through completion of an undergraduate and/or graduate degree in accounting and a minimum of seven years experience in an Audit function or similar accounting role.
Comprehensive understanding of Hyperion and the monthly processes used to collect data.
Knowledge and application of US GAAP Technical and analytical proficiencies.
Attention to detail with ability to translate into the big picture.
Commitment to delivery of quality/accurate work products.
Logical reasoning, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues.
Well-developed interpersonal skills - ability to communicate professionally (oral/written).
Customer service oriented. Organization and multi-task skills.
Strong work ethic - a sense of urgency and ability to prioritize requests; ability to multi-task and to work efficiently under pressure to meet deadlines while producing timely and accurate deliverables.
Ability to understand complex data and to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, demanding environment with time constraints.
Eagerness to accept diverse responsibilities and receptiveness to change.
Ability to work both independently and within a group environment.
Understanding of how systems are interfaced.
Hyperion - experience using HFM/Essbase as an Advanced End User including SmartView and FR Studio. MS Office Suite Proficiency (use of macros and advanced Excel formula functionality).
Saudi citizenship or a transferable Iqama visa is essential
Preferred:
Knowledge of JD Edwards/SAP. CPA or other accounting certification.
Energy Services experience.
